Giratina, Lord of Shadows

I used to just be weirded out by Giratina's design, but back in my mind I still thought it was cool... now, having seen stranger monsters, I think it's one of the coolest, especially the Origin Forme. (Giratina is also pretty much the only Sinnoh Pokémon I like. XP)

And I've been thinking it would be a beautiful design for an ink painting, so I tried my hand. I'm really proud of it. I sort of just want to keep it, lol. Usually I've been relying on my smaller weasel hair brush, but since this was a less detail-oriented piece and I wanted more nebulous effects, I used my wolf and goat hair brushes. I enjoy them.~ I was also less concerned with keeping to the pencil lines, and in the end, I got away with very few outlines. I hope to be able to paint without outlines at all eventually (though I'll still employ them occationally).

Also, one more day until Pokemon Black and White 2! ;-;
